Contemporary Roof Garden Design

Our garden loving clients asked us to design the roof terrace of their chic London apartment in Marylebone. As with any roof terrace, we gave careful thought to the weighting of the roof garden and consulted structural engineers. We commissioned bespoke, light weight planters which provide ample planting opportunities, without compromising the integrity of the roof structure. We also created additional privacy using bespoke contemporary slatted screens. The Mediterranean style planting includes olive trees, lavenders and salvias. These are ideal plants for a roof terrace as they are wind and drought tolerant and so thrive in this hot and sunny space.
