About Hampstead Garden Design
Hampstead Garden Design is an award winning landscape and garden design studio, based in Hampstead Garden Suburb in North London. The practice was founded in 2009 by London garden designer Sarah Oxby, after her passion for all things garden related lead her to train in garden design and horticulture at Capel Manor College, a highly regarded horticultural centre.
Sarah now specialises in bespoke planting design and offers a professional and friendly design service, combining her horticultural knowledge and creative skills to create beautifully stylish planting schemes. She collaborates with a network of trusted landscapers, plant nurseries and gardeners to help to clients transform their outdoor spaces.
Sarah is also available for one-off garden consultations, for those clients who just need a little help with redesigning their garden.
Clients include private homeowners, landscapers, architects and property developers throughout London, Hertfordshire and the south east.
When not designing gardens, Sarah enjoys walking on Hampstead Heath with her dog, Alfie and pottering in her own North London garden.
OUR PROCESS
At Hampstead Garden Design we are passionate about creating beautiful planting to suit you and your garden. We enjoy collaborating with clients to design planting which meets their preferences, interests and practical needs, whether that be low maintenance planting or maybe to encourage biodiversity and wildlife. Sarah will meet with you to agree a pallet of new plants for your garden before drawing up a plan for the new planting scheme. If you wish, Sarah is happy to source the plants, advise on any necessary preparation and oversee the planting work.
For clients who don’t feel that they need a full planting design, Sarah is happy to visit for a one-off consultation.
