A Village Garden in the Heart of London
This week we have started work on our latest garden build, in the delightfully tranquil setting of Village Road conservation area, Finchley. The garden has been cleared of unwanted shrubs and weeds and new areas of lawn and planting created. Existing stone has been relaid and combined with Cotswold gravel to to create a curvaceous pathway. The new beds and borders are being dug over and compost added, in preparation for autumn planting. The planned planting will have a soft informal feel and include lavender, poppies and grasses in the sunnier areas and ferns and hellebores in shadier beds. Watch this space to see how the garden develops over the coming weeks.
